Meet Dr. Guptill
Dr. Kristen Guptill
Dr. Kristen Guptill, also known as Dr. G, is a proud Jamaican native who graduated from the University of Mary in North Dakota with a Bachelor's in Biology. This is also where she pursued her career in track and field and met her husband of x amount of years as he was a strong collegiate athlete as well. Dr. G always knew she wanted to be a dentist and furthered her learning at the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, School of Dental Medicine and then went onto a General Practice Residency at the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
She worked in Public Health for 5 years in Grand Forks, ND before moving to California. In her spare time Dr. G enjoys spending time with her husband Troy, chasing after 3 enjoyably rambunctious toddlers Ella, Elijah and Mia. Her hobbies and self care activities include traveling, working out and trying out new foods.
She recently moved to Michigan to be closer to family and can’t wait to reestablish this place as her forever home with her husband and kids all while creating some beautiful memories!
As a Dentist, Dr. G believes in the delicate balance of both clinical experience and didactic knowledge and uses those tools to drive holistic patient care. She is also dedicated to listening to her patients as she supports and educates them on achieving their optimal oral health. She strongly emphasizes the doctor-patient relationship and fosters an environment for patient-centered care and involvement.
