Tom – Lab Technician (retired after 35+ years of service)

Hello, my name is Tom. I am one of the lab technicians at Harborside Dental. I have been employed at Harborside Dental for 39 years. We have an in-house laboratory where Craig and I fabricate most of the crowns, inlays, bridges, partial, and dentures. We feel this is a real benefit for our patients because we can work hands-on with them when needed.

I was born and raised in Traverse City and attended the University of Toledo. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and especially family and my nieces and nephews and their children.

Craig – Lab Technician

Hello, my name is Craig. I am one of the laboratory technicians at Harborside Dental. I have been employed at Harborside Dental for 43 years. I grew up in Reed City, Michigan. Upon graduating from high school, I attended and graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan with an Applied Associates of Science degree with Distinction. I am certified in Pressable and Poly Ceramic restorations. I also have several years experience in Cad Cam Milling and Design.

I am a life long member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. I have been married to my wife, Jeanie for 37 years. We have two daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter. My favorite past time is my family and spending time with them.

Kelly – Front Desk Coordinator

Hi! My name is Kelly I work in the front business office at Harborside Dental as the front office coordinator. I Have worked for Dr. Kozelko since September 2001. Some of my responsibilities include overseeing our front desk operations, answering the phone, scheduling appointments and doing financial arrangements, greeting patients, and some miscellaneous “behind the scenes” tasks. I love what I do here at Harborside Dental! I work with a great team of co-workers.

One of the greatest rewards of my job is building relationships with our patients and helping them to achieve and maintain excellent dental health. It is very rewarding knowing that our patients leave our office with quality dental work.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband Rob, my cat Rascal and my dog Sadie. They keep us very entertained and busy! Some of my hobbies include going to the beach, boating, jet skiing, traveling, reading, and being with family and friends.

Catherine – Business manager

Hello! I’m Catherine and I’m very excited to be part of the team here at Harborside Dental. I became part of the staff here in September of 2011, as the Business Manager. I have finally found “my home”.

I started working in the dental field in 1997 and truly enjoy the satisfaction it brings. I look forward to meeting you and helping with any of your insurance and/or billing needs.

I am a native to the Traverse City area and enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, gardening and many other outdoor activities that the area and four seasons bring us.

Linda – Hygiene Coordinator

Hi, My name is Linda. I recently joined the Harborside Dental team as the Hygiene Coordinator. I am so thankful to be here and look forward to meeting all of you.

I have lived in Traverse City for several years and it has become my home. I am married and have 2 beautiful daughters, one son in law and 2 family dogs, Cudi and Stanley. In my spare time I love to be outdoors walking the dogs, entertaining and spending time with family.

Our family has been very involved with the Cherry festival over the last several years. We truly enjoy the event and look forward to it every year.

Diane – Registered Dental Assistant and Lab tech

Hello, my name is Diane. I am a Registered Dental Assistant at Harborside Dental. I’ve lived in the beautiful Grand Traverse Region for most of my life and graduated from Traverse City Senior High School. (Before it was known as “Central”!) I received an Associates Degree from NMC after completing the Dental Assisting Program. Having worked in the dental field since 1995, I became employed by Dr. Kozelko in July 2007. This has been a wonderful employment opportunity for me in a very “TEAM” oriented atmosphere. Dr. Kozelko, Dr. Krull and the staff here truly care about each individual patient’s needs and we work hard to make our patients look and feel great.
I have always had a passion for the Lab side of Dentistry and in 2022 I had the opportunity to train under our very talented Lab technicians and now I work mainly in our “In House Lab”. I fabricate Dentures, Partial Dentures, and appliances.

I have two grown children, a daughter in law, and three grown step-children with my husband Dave. I also have a grandson and a dog named JezziBelle. In our spare time, we enjoy rock-hunting, bike riding, camping, and metal detecting.

I look forward to meeting you soon and assisting with all of your dental needs here at Harborside Dental.

Emily – Registered Dental Assistant

Hello, My name is Emily. I am a registered Dental Assistant and received my Associates Degree of Applied Science in NMC’s Dental Assisting program.

I grew up in Benzie County and I have two sons, Ivor and Ewan. When I am not busy taking care of my boys, I enjoy spending time with friends, going to concerts, hiking, kayaking and watching all of Detroit’s pro sports teams. Go Red Wings!

Eva – Dental Assistant

Hi My name is Eva, I am new to the Harborside Team! I have really enjoyed meeting the patients here and getting to know them.
I am originally from Manton, Michigan and lived in Kentucky for 18 years before moving back to Traverse City.
I have 12 years of Dental Assisting experience.
I have a son Jonathon and a daughter Cassidy. In my spare time I love to travel and read.

Jan – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi, my name is Jan, I recently returned to Traverse City due to the Pandemic and I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Harborside Dental Team.
I graduated from Traverse City Central High School and then went on to Northwestern Michigan College and finally earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from The University of Michigan. I have been practicing Dental Hygiene for 40 years and enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise to help patients obtain optimal dental health.
I was fortunate to live in Japan and Germany, so travel has been a passion as well as yoga, my fur babies, hiking, biking, boating and water color painting. I look forward to meeting you!

Amanda – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi my name is Amanda, I am so excited to join the Harborside Team!!i relocated to Traverse City from the Grand Rapids area and I love it here!
I have over 8 years of experience with patient services and 3 years of Hygiene practice
My hobbies Include Travel, kayaking, skiing, biking, camping, and boating.
